kobayashi - "DASSELBE IN GRÜN" Picture 7" OUT NOW!!!

GRAILS "Burning Off Impurities" 2xLP

Die neueste Grails's Lonplayer ist bei Temporary Residence bereits erhältlich. Bin ein wenig spät dran, habe trotzdem noch ein Exemplar für günstige USD 18,-- (Worldwide) bekommen.

Following soon after the critically praised Black Tar Prophecies collection on Important Records, Portland, Oregon's Grails return with their first proper studio album since 2004 release of Redlight. Burning Off Impurities - their debut for Temporary Residence Ltd. - makes good on the promise of those past releases in delivering an album that not only thrusts the group to new heights, but also significantly pushes the instrumental rock genre forward for the first time in nearly a decade. An increased interest in psychedelic, ambient and world musics is most likely to blame for Grails' exploration of the lesser-traveled paths of modern music. Influenced in equal parts by Ash Ra Tempel, Erkin Koray, Popol Vuh, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and dozens others, this is very likely the closest Grails will ever get to making a classic rock record; the kind of sprawling masterpiece that you savor for years before passing it on to your younger brother so he can repeat the process.

SILVESTER ANFANG - 'Echte Vlaamse Geiten' LP

Neue "Silvester Anfang" LP mit alten Aufnahmen. Genauso wie die erste LP ein Pflichtkauf. Gibt's auch bei Conspiracy Records.

Silvester Anfang - Echte Vlaamse Geiten LP $12.99 (Eclipse)
"Normally, this pagan mass was going to be the first official Silvester Anfang release, but somehow, fate got in the way. It took us a long time to pick out the best musical pieces from a large amount of recordings we did in 2005 and 2006, but finally, we made it. The result is the usual improvised orgy of crappy instruments, drugged and wailing chants, psychedelic guitars, cosmic droning and unplugged jamborees. You can hear long jams being screwed up by drunken musicians. A spontaneous mongoloid werewolf freak-out to sacrifice your local blonde virgins to that doesn't need backward satanic messages to incite murder and debauchery. Recorded in the misty moors of Maldegem (Belgium), it will summon images of naked soldiers worshipping goats, Flemish knights courting ugly women, satanic snakes destroying the earth and demonic agriculture. It's warm, lo fi, amateur, monotonous and genuine funeral folk. And in the end, this is what we're supposed to sound and look like: true Flemish goats. Comes in authentic Funeral Folk artwork with real propaganda-styled insert!" One of my favorite albums - its a real thrill to issue a record by these Belgians! Edition of 491 copies in full color printed sleeves and black and white insert.

Fear Falls Burning - "once we all walk through solid objects" 5xLP PREORDER

fear falls burning 5lp 'sleep dream walk enter' (tf35) available for pre-order

one of tonefloat's major projects in its anniversary year is a much anticipated five album set once we all walk through solid objects. the set collects 10 original and brand new fear falls burning pieces, reconstructed by renowned artists including bass communion (steven wilson of porcupine tree; uk), final (justin k broadrick of jesu; uk), (frans de waard of beequeen/freiband; holland), harvestman (steve von till of neurosis; usa), birchville cat motel (new zealand), byla (of dysrhythmia; usa), aidan baker (of nadja; canada), johannes persson (of cult of luna; sweden), jefre cantu-ledesma (of tarentel; usa) and stefano pilia (of 3/4hadbeeneliminated; italy). all tracks showcase the wide context of the music of fear falls burning. not only by the origins of the musicians, from postrock to industrial, but also by the way the original material was treated. not only by reworking their way, but also by adding scapes, tools and instruments. each and every contribution makes up a full vinyl record album side. the 5lp release promises to be a landmark release with yet again tonefloat's trademark quality presentation. the vinyl will be pressed on 180 grams coloured vinyl. 'once we all walk through solid objects' will be pressed in a limited and one-off edition of 500 copies only, in true fear falls burning style.

the 5lp set is available for pre-order now for 50 euros. this offer ends on the date of release, after that the set will cost 60 euros. check our shop for details. we have had many many requests for this release so get your copy before it's sold out...

Ulterior Motive
